   The Gunpowder Review is Harford County, Maryland's new literary magazine. Editors, WH Stevens and VW Crist, are seeking fiction and nonfiction of no more than 1,500 words, poetry of under 42 lines, and black & white art measuring 7.5 x 10 or less from local* women. *(Submissions from women from MD, DC, DE, PA, VA, and WV will be given priority).
   The submitted work should be unpublished, and mailed along with a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope for response only) no later than August 15, 2009 to: Gunpowder Review, 4036 Hunt Crest Rd., Jarrettsville, MD 21084-1821.
   Remember to include your name, address, phone number, and email on each page of your submission. And make sure to send a disposable copy, as work not accepted will be shredded & recycled.
   Accepted writers and artists will receive a copy of the Fall 2009 issue as payment, and an opportunity to read their prose and poetry at an autumn event. "The Gunpowder Review" uses First North American Serial Rights only. All other rights revert to the individual writers and artists.
